Desc: United in Lockdown: Directed by Ian Manson. (SARS - CoV - 2) now more commonly known as COVID-19, is suspected to have started in China in 2019. The pandemic has barley been off our television screens since news really broke out in January 2020 and has been the subject of billions of conversations and opinions. To put it into context even the British forgot about Brexit for a while. Ian Manson, Dan Burman and Paul Hamer are old collaborators on feature films, such as; "The Devils Bargain" and "In Circles". During one of those billions of conversations on the Coronavirus they discovered how disparate those conversations were. They decided that as we are all living through an unprecedented time in human history these conversations over time would become diluted and corrupted as the situation changed. They believed that these conversations should be documented and preserved. "United in Lockdown" is the result of conversations that have taken place all over the world. They have filmed these remotely using Zoom, WhatsApp and occasionally "Real Cameras" - where it was safe to do so. from New York, Tokyo, Mexico City, Berlin, Bombay, London and Vienna to name a few. These conversation come to life in this social documentary. All the conversations took place between Friday the 24th April and the 15th May 2020 and offer an insight as to what people were thinking and feeling during the first wave of the corona virus. It is the filmmakers intention to follow this story to the end of this pandemic and beyond.
